Data processing for browsing purposes

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects, but may allow users to be identified through processing and association with data held by third parties.

The information collected includes: IP addresses, type of browser or operating system used, addresses in Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) notation, domain name and addresses of the websites from which access or exit was made (referring/exit pages), time of the request to the server, method used, information about the response obtained, further details about the user's navigation on the site (see also section on cookies), and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computer environment. Use of cookies

When you visit a website, it may store or retrieve information on your browser, mainly in the form of cookies. This information may be about you, your preferences, or your device, and is used primarily to make the site work according to your expectations. The information usually does not directly identify you, but it can provide a more personalized web experience. You can choose not to allow certain types of cookies. Click on “Cookie Settings” to learn more and change the default settings. However, disabling certain cookies may affect your browsing experience and use of the services offered.

The following information is provided in accordance with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali's order of May 8, 2014 “Identification of the simplified modalities for information and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies.”

What are Cookies and which ones do we use?

Cookies are small strings of text that a website may send to your device as you browse. These cookies are stored on the browser used for browsing and can be read and recorded by the same website to obtain different information.

Type of cookies

There are two macro-categories of cookies: technical cookies and profiling cookies.

  • Technical cookies: Necessary for the proper functioning of the website and to allow navigation. Without them, you may not be able to properly view pages or use certain services.
    These cookies include:

    • Necessary cookies: Essential for the website to work and cannot be turned off. They are set in response to your actions such as setting privacy preferences, logging in, or filling out forms. Blocking them may prevent some parts of the site from working.

    • Analytical cookies: They allow us to count visits and traffic sources to evaluate and improve site performance. All information collected is anonymous. If disabled, we will not be able to evaluate and improve site performance.

    • Functionality cookies: They allow the site to provide advanced functionality and personalization. They can be set by us or by third parties whose services have been added to our pages. Without them, some services may not work properly.

  • Profiling cookies: Used to profile you and send advertising messages in line with your preferences. They can be set by third parties and based on identifying your internet browser and device. Disabling them will not affect your ability to browse the site, but you may not be shown personalized ads.

Classification of cookies

Cookies can be classified as:

  • First-party cookies: Generated and managed directly by the website visited.

  • Third-party cookies: Generated and managed by parties other than the operator of the website visited.

By accepting profiling cookies and browsing afterwards, the data collected will be associated with your registration or membership information, via an automatically generated numeric code. The use of these cookies requires the free and informed consent of the user, in accordance with the Garante Order of May 8, 2014, as amended.
